Create Your Account

Start building your health story workspace

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

A free account gives you access to the Health Story Lab workspace, live circles, and practical tools for organizing complex health experiences over time.

Key Insight

The goal isn’t to explain everything at once.

It’s to start creating a clearer picture, one piece at a time.

This is where things start to come together

When you create a free account, you can begin building a clearer picture of your health story over time.

  • Keep track of moments as they happen so you don’t have to rely only on memory later.
  • Notice patterns across time instead of trying to explain everything from one appointment or one symptom.
  • Build language for your experience so it becomes easier to describe what has been hard to explain.

You don’t need to do everything at once. You’re just building a clearer picture, one piece at a time.

Note

There’s no pressure to get it right.
This isn’t about perfect tracking — it’s about noticing.

What you get with a free account

Basic membership gives you access to the starting resources inside Health Story Lab.

  • Systems Literacy resources
  • Symptom Literacy resources
  • Resource library and downloadable PDFs
  • Updates as new tools and resources are added

Important Boundary

Health Story Lab does not diagnose or provide medical advice.

It helps you organize and communicate what you are noticing.

Create your free account

Start with what you’ve already noticed, and build from there.

Note

You can start slowly.
This just gives you a place to continue.

Built on WordPress · Hosted in Canada

Health Story Lab is based in British Columbia, Canada, and operates with respect for the Indigenous peoples whose lands and territories we live and work on, including both unceded and treaty lands across what is now called Canada.

Health Story Lab is not a clinical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content is intended to support description and organization of personal health experiences only. If you are experiencing a health emergency, please contact your local emergency services.

Apply for the Founding Cohort

Thank you for your interest in the Health Story Lab Founding Cohort.

This is a small, early group for people who would like live guidance and support while exploring the first working version of Health Story LabTM.

The founding cohort is intended for people whose health story feels complex, difficult to explain, scattered across different records, or hard to keep track of over time.

Because spaces are limited, we ask a few short questions before sending an invitation to register.

If it seems like a good fit, you will receive:

  • A link to register for the 8-week live cohort
  • The reduced founding participant rate of $247 CAD (including GST)
  • Information about next steps and timing

Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.
Please enter only your first name or a nickname you would like us to use.
We will only use this to follow up about the cohort.
This helps us plan the timing of live sessions.
For example, you might be hoping to organize a complicated health history, notice patterns, prepare for appointments, or bring scattered information together in one place.
You are welcome to share a few sentences about what has felt most relevant or difficult recently. Please keep your response general and avoid identifying details.
Why are you interested in the live cohort rather than the self-guided version?
When would you most likely be available for weekly live sessions?
I understand that this is an early prototype and that some parts of the system may still change as the cohort progresses. *
This form is for intake purposes only. Please do not include detailed medical history, identifying details, provider names, or exact dates. General comments, questions, or hopes for the program are welcome.

Prototype Partner Inquiry

Prototype Partner participation is designed for people who want a deeper level of guidance while exploring and organizing their health story using the Health Story Lab system.

At this level, participation includes individual support and collaborative exploration as you work with an early version of the system to document complex health experiences.

Because this level involves individualized attention, participation is limited and arranged through a short inquiry process.
